David Brandt developed a love for art in childhood. Having traveled throughout the continental States at an early age, he cultured a passion for nature, incorporating the essence of various themes and seasons with art. He traveled extensively to many islands, as well as various countries in Europe. With the goal of encompassing the viewer's eye, his creation of large format abstracts provides a view one expects in nature.

 

An avid swimmer, Brandt takes an ardent approach to the sense of water in his paintings, establishing for the viewer an observation of nature's most tranquil yet powerful force. The Elements series is dedicated to air, earth, fire and water.
